Every day, the tropical beach paradise at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park beckons visitors to partake in vast peaceful views of the Gulf of Mexico, and experience the many shorebirds and wildlife that gather here. Visitors come to this park to sunbathe, paddle board, kayak, hike, bird-watch, fish, picnic, and search for seashells.
There are specific areas at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park designated for anglers to drop their lines in pursuit of that trophy catches. Boaters will also find the launch area into Turkey Bay which is easily accessible for most vessels. Experience the delicate natural estuaries of the Cocohatchee River, leading out to the Gulf of Mexico. Guided tours and interpretive programs occur on a regular basis by experienced rangers and volunteers. Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a small slice of heaven. The cool ocean breeze, the feel of the sand, and the sight of dolphins in the water bring indescribable joy!
Activities in the Park include boating, paddling, fishing, hiking, picnicking, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming and wildlife viewing. Amenities available within the park include: restrooms, outdoor showers, Observation Tower Trail, picnic tables, grills, picnic pavilion, boardwalks and observation decks, concessions and restaurant, beach, boat ramp and canoe-kayak launch.
