Apple Pork Kebabs are so delicious, you’ll want to make them often. There are variations on the recipe, so you might want to try all of them! It’s so easy and fun to make, the kids like to help out in the kitchen. Just remember to allow time to marinate so you get the best flavor. You can cook these kebabs over an electric, gas or charcoal grill or on a broiler pan in your oven. The meat will be more tender if cooked over gentle heat.

Instructions
  1. Remove fat and gristle from your Boneless Pork Roast and cut meat into 1 1/2" to 2" chunks. Place into a stainless steel or glass bowl.
  2. Mix apple juice, sugar, soy sauce and seasonings. Pour over meat, mixing until chunks are coated. Marinate for 1 hour, or cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes, thread the meat onto 4 skewers. Broil over an electric, gas or charcoal grill or place on broiler pan 6-8 inches from flame (turn often)
  4. Barbecue for about 20-25 minutes over medium heat until meat is no longer pink. Brush with marinade during cooking and serve hot.
Recipe Notes

Apple Pork Kebabs are good served with hot cooked rice or rice pilaf, mixed vegetables on skewers (barbecued as well), or mixed vegetable salad.

For 2 servings: Use half of the ingredients, Use a 1 lb Pork Tenderloin

For 8 servings: Use double the ingredients

You may cut the meat into 1" chunks and thread onto several short skewers. Cook over a hibachi and serve 8-12 as an appetizer for a party!
