Instructions
  1. Blend sugar and soy sauce in small bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat butter in small skillet and add egg. Cook as for an omelette and remove from heat when set. Cut into 1/2" pieces. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in large skillet and add garlic and chopped onion. Stir fry for 1 minute and add green onion, stir frying for another minute.
  4. Add meat and shrimp. Stir fry for additional 3-4 minutes, incorporating all ingredients. Add soy sauce mixture and red pepper and blend through rice. Finally add egg and stir in to rice. Serve hot.
Recipe Notes

Add more soy sauce if needed to taste. Using Tamari will make this dish Gluten Free. Egg and Green onions may be used as a garnish instead of incorporated if need be.

For 2 servings: use half the ingredients but still using a whole egg.

For 8 servings: double the ingredients.
